A tour through the imperail appartements inside the downtown imperial palace ("Hofburg"). One may have one's own opinion on her - emperess Elisabeth is a fascinating personality still who reflects many of one's own brighter or darker traits. The imperial apartments show how the imperial couple had lived and worked.

Museum of fine arts, Wien

A guided tour through the rich collection of paintings as well as through the "chamber of art" ("Kunstkammer") of a museum for which at least two days would be needed to discover its treasures.

Belvedere palace

The palace from the outside including the park and the museum in the upper part of the palace ("Oberes Belvedere"). Besides the Leopoldmuseum this is a must for all those who want to see originals of the Austrian art of painting from the 19th century and hear exciting stories from the genesis of the paintings as well as about the biographies of the artists. Here you find many "Klimts", foremost the "Kiss". If you wish we can drop by the medieval collection with its expressive altars.

The monastery of Heiligenkreuz and the commemorial place of Mayerling

South west of Vienna. Monastery of Heiligenkreuz: A medieval monastery of the Cisterciensian order. The monastery still today is a vital place for education and a home for the members of the order. Commemorial place Mayerling: The death of prince Rudolph in 1889 was a shock to the imperial family. During the visit of the commemorial place you'll learn about the impressive personality of the son of Emperor Franz Joseph I.

Monastery of Klosterneuburg

North east of Vienna. The monastery was conceived similarly to the Spanish monasterial palace "Escorial" linking the profane with the sacred. It hosts as a special treasure the "altar of Verdun" and the Austrian archduke's crown.

Wachau and the monasterial of Melk

This greatest baroque monastery of Austria, is located at a pittoresque site at the Danube.
